Kandi Population

So whats the scene like where you live. Has it gotten better or worse in the past few years? The Dj's? The kandi kid population?

Here in NM its gotten better over the past few years, More and more pople are getting ionto the scene. The kandi kid population has sky rocketed ( and the real kids not the ones who just look the part) The love is so intense at these things ita incredible. The only thing is I wish there was even more people to have a good time with.

How's it goin guys? I just wanna let everyone know that our next party is on February 24th Saturday @ Club Machine. For everyone who attended Thanks for the Glow @ Club Exit you know what a dope party that was. Glowsticking all night and a great vibe. A vibe absent from the NYC scene these days.

On the lineup we have DJ TommyBoy from Philadelphia. I seen this guy in Philly mad times and he rocks it out everytime spittin trance like no other. Very very excited to see him again.

Also from Philadelphia we have lEEdEEmOn who will be droppin Trance and Hardstyle Trance. This guys amazing and I know he'll drop some of the sickest stuff you'll ever hear.

Then we've got our own Hai Lee Chen from NYC. For whoever came to see him with me at Crobar you know he's got skillz. He's a close personal friend of mine and I can tell you that once he starts droppin his Trance and Progressive tracks you won't stop movin.

100 Glowsticks will be given at the door for the few who get there first.

Doors open at 10:30PM and ladies are free before 12. $20 Advanced tickets but a "Special VIP" price on my guestlist.

Who has read "what is a kandi kid?"

There was a likkle that got me up on candy kids cus it reported about full out rave style. This likkle was written by someone who loved the rituals of the rave scene and was interested in perserving a part of thier culture, and it worked because it created an institution. Candy kids are still everywhere and it's a great way to express you're love for rave culture. The likkle goes on about the non need for E to be a candy raver. Of course it mentions how the candy raver style was a symbol for a drug dealer because you could be sure that the guy who was like an inside out E cap would have caps, but the real deal I got from it was how you could express all that raveness without drugs. Being a candy kid is more than just bracelets, it's about keeping it real for the foundations of cybernetic bliss culture.

im new to sf with my bf and while we passed on a serious degree of opur candi to ouyr friends back east we kept the spirit alive in heart! we're seriously drowning in the clubbiness in SF. it seems like all teh cool parties are in san jose or sacrememnto- is there anything rave related or kandi related in sf as far as nightlife goes....? any suggestions on venues, djs, in this twon (we have no car) would be greatly appreciated. everytime we try and check out any electronic music we end up at a frekin club! give me gritty ravers!!!!!!

I know most of you are from the West Coast where the scene is much more alive than on the East Coast, maybe thats because of the laid back more liberal way of life out there, but things aren't so great back East. There is a new tribe for Northeast Ravers and we need your help to unite the shattered scenes of the East Coast. The link is below, go there and post storries of East Coast experiences, favorite venues etc. Or simply join the tribe so it can be connected with the other tribes so East Coast peepz will see it on the list. We need to join together linking our candy necklaces across the continent to help our fellow brothers and sisters, uniting like the Carebears for one common cause.

I'm going to keep the tribe as up to date with info as I can, but I can't do it alone, the scene is about unity...Peace Love Unity and Respect, remember we can do anything together. By ourselvs, we are like a lone Harri Krishna in the subway...bad example they dissappeared in NYC about the same time as the scene began to die and I have never seen one in Boston where I live now...coincidence.....maybe hehehehe

Ok so for thosae who know Dj Seduction is one of the best djs of all time. He has a label called Impact. He throws parties called Uproar. In a couple weeks in Nottingham Englnad there is going to be the biggest Hardcore Massive of the summer. I want to go. And I go with with all of you. Ticket prices are only 25 pounds which is less than $40. NOw the scary part- the plane. It's expensive. but as a group the price goes down. I have never been to a rave in the UK and I want to go to this one. Imagine 10,000 people all dancing their hearts out with one another in one of Englands biggest venues. Oh the key part- It's all hardcore. Here in the states we might a couple of hours or even a whole room sometimes but even then how many people are ever there. lol
C'mon guys lets go and show them what US has to offer in vibes, style, and dance
